I’ve read something in a book and it had something about dark humor in it. Since then I’ve been wondering what it is/what it’s like.
Could you maybe give me some examples so I could better understand it?

Humor that has deeper or morbid subject matter to it. Like when a body rolls out of a coffin. Or on Trainspotting, when the heroin addict went to get a blood test, and said “ouch!” and gave the nurse a mean look when she poked him with the needle.
