Question by : Avoiding humour……………………………….?
I do not like the use of humour. If I’m talking to a person I avoid humour. It’s not because I fear how I look if I use humour or that I fear what they think of me, but it’s more how I feel if I were to use humour. I personally believe the use of humour is pathetic – and I wouldn’t like the way I would feel if I were to use humour. I am a confident man, age 31, I do not have any insecurity issues.

I’d like some explanations as to why I choose to avoid humour when talking to people.

I sense that you are far away from being confident. Was there something that happened to you as an infant? teenager? Laughing is healthy, and it is not healthy for you to dislike hilarious things. You are afraid of what they will think of you when you laugh and what not. I have a funny laugh but I don’t care because when I’m laughing, I’m happy. It feels good to laugh! Please go on youtube and watch some Jon Lajoi comedy, you are sure to laugh.
