Question by jenniferchavaz: Is there a resemblance between Barak Obama and Cornelius the Ape from Planet of the Apes?
This came to mind after the past weeks of watching the news and how the media seems to make a fuss over every little thing Obama and his family does… much more so than any past President’s family.

Remember on Planet of the Apes, how the nation made a huge to-do over everything from Cornelius picks out a suite, to Zira having her hair styled.
Heck, CNN right now just mentioned Obama brushing his teeth!

I personally think it’s cute that we -as a society- decided to take a “stress break” for a few years and humor ourselves by providing government housing for the Obongo clan; but really – how many people find every menial task of their daily routine that interesting??
