Question by livelovelaugh: What does Aristophanic humor mean?
I know its a Greek myth but what I want to know is what it means in literature. What does it mean as an allusion! If someone said “that girl has aristophanic humor” what are they trying to say? Please help!

Aristophanic humor is humor in the style of Aristophanes which is crude, vulgar and
surreal. The link explains it better than I can. Not in popular use today, but has influence
on some comics and comedic shows like SNL.
